The Saltoro Jacket remains our best selling GORE-TEX shell, from Scottish Munros to Pyrenean ridge lines it strikes the ideal balance between proper waterproof protection and unhindered mobility for wet and windy days up high. At the same time it maintains the low weight and pack size to make it a year round choice.

A hybrid fabric construction combines lightweight 2.5 layer GORE-TEX PACLITE 40 Denier fabric with a hard wearing 3-layer GORE-TEX 75 Denier fabric reinforcements. Both use a PFCec free DWR.

With a simple but highly functional, 2 pocket design the Saltoro retains our renowned Mountain HC Hood, offering unrivalled protection in the worst weather it will also fit over a climbing helmet on the occasions when you’re venturing into steeper ground.
